RTN 3rd Annual Xmas Eve Cricket Match

Happens each year, and is lots of fun.

Ted and the kids enjoy a visit from Santa. He was drinking beer and telling us that it was his busiest day of the year. So he needed a beer.

Aliah and Elka marvel at the JellyBelly box that Janice gave them.

Rani marvels at the book Janice gave her.

Elka and Aliah with some smiling, crazed looking woman.

Note the seated umpire in the last shot. He had a broken leg.

If you ask him, Stan will onlu be too pleased to tell you about his knock of 45, and the two wickets he got.

Pipes, mate

(viewed 1011 times)
A couple of weeks ago, Jock, Jason and Stan (also known as "Lambie and Son....and Stan") replaced the water pipes frpm the mains to the house.

We had not been able to drink the water for a year or so, as it was so badly discoloured. Mostly, we bought big containers of water from the supermarket.

Jock heard about this, and as a plumber of repute, and of many years experience he said "That's just not on".

He came over one Sunday, and with the fellas, took 2.5 hours to fix the problem. He charged me $70 in materials.

I gotta get that man something special.
