More holiday snaps

(viewed 1722 times)
So I realised I still had a load of snaps in my phone from recent vacationing. I'm gonna try and clear it all out..I've been so busy since I got back I haven't really even unpacked my suitcase :-( So today is the day I try and catch up, and emerge from radio silence.

Ollie likes to watch

And I like to watch Ollie.

I wish I could have put him in my suitcase and bought him home with me. My favouritist cat in the world.

Albany airport art part 2

(viewed 1932 times)
More of the celebration of small things. The vintage tissue box had a tiny video presentation in the little screen, and the toy diorama was constructed by the son of Norman Rockwell, who has apparently dedicated his life to collecting toys. The top picture is of a series of artists studios re-created with action figures.

Sweet. Art rocks.

Albany airport art part 1

(viewed 1628 times)
Every year when I fly out of Albany, I always check their current exhibition - they use the concourse to display a variety of interesting work. This year the theme was little things. These particularly impressed me - the top scarf is actually hundreds of map pins on vinyl, not fabric at all, and the bottom work is comprised of loads of reels of thread which form a picture when viewed from a distance. Clever.
