2 Jacks at Halloween

Halloween greetings to the Goldfrapp gang! This is me in my elephant
headgear and the creature in my hands - complete with spinning head - is my
Bengal cat, Jack. I'm still recovering from my birthday celebrations
yesterday - hence the shades. I'm loving the 'Seventh Tree' tasters - keep
'em coming - and cannot wait for the actual release! Cheers, Halloween
Jack of the GMB.

Hi lovely Goldfrapp,

Im Unison from the message board! Since Im ill and tonight I wont be able to go around asking Trick or treat?, Im sending the project of my dressing-up, and it is obviously Goldfrapp inspired.

The owl idea is taken from the web-site and in general to the frappish half man/half animal imagery, while the tulle coming out of my sweater is a tribute to the wonderful new picture of Alison. The strange cap well its the bizarre touch!

:) hope you like it. I think sometimes projects are more exciting then acts themselves But I swear, if I wasnt ill, I would have done it! Lots of kisses from Italy (cant wait for Seventh tree!

Costume Contest

(viewed 717 times)
Step aside people, I'm puking up an old swamp! It came into me in my
dreams, and I had to induce vomiting to get it out. I really did not
find this funny, either.

I'm searching for the Seventh Tree this Halloween. I love you, Goldfrapp!

Hi there,
This was my costume that I entered for the mute competition to win vip
tickets to eden and meet alison. I hope you like it! It's made out of an old
sombrero (recycled from a new year's eve party where we dresses up as
mexicans, cowboys and indians!), coat hangers, tissue paper and lots of pva!
Believe it or not, I was one of the mute competition winners, but I couldn't
make it! :o(
I was sooooo gutted. I passed up the opportunity to meet alison and will and
see all the other fabulous costumes just because my boyfriend had got me a
surprise trip to paris. i still don't know if i made the right decision but
don't tell my boyfriend that! ;o)

Eden shenanigans

(viewed 2428 times)
I had a fantastic and unforgettable time at Eden! I'd like to thank Mute for
arranging the "meet", and Alison and Will and the band for putting on such a
brilliant show. It was also a very welcome opportunity to meet fellow
Goldfrapp fans in person... many of us had previously only been in contact
via the GMB (Goldfrapp Message Board).I have about 50 Eden photos on my Goldfrapp website - taken by GMBers:
Fenland, Halloween Jack, SiNiStEr, staddsy, strictmachine75 and The
Carpathian. Thank you, guys - for allowing your pictures to be made public.
The photos are a mixture of pre-gig and in-concert, and some of them are
very large (in dimensions and file-size) - so I'll include a link to the
webpage rather than trying to shrink/post them all to the moblog - I hope
this is OK.
We were instructed to "film the shenanigans", and I duly took camcorder
footage of the meet, the pre-gig audience, and some of the performance
itself. I'm hoping that these clips are kept in their original hi-res
format. They are available, as MPEG-2 files, for download from my website.
In total, they run to about 40 minutes (around 1.8 GB). Because of their
size, it wouldn't be possible to post them directly to the moblog. Again, I
hope a link to the corresponding webpage is acceptable.
I'm afraid I won't be able to keep all of the video clips on the website for
too long - I'm right up to my 2GB limit. But I'll try and swap them
in-and-out so they remain available.Oh and... the website is currently being converted/updated, and it's only
been tested with Internet Explorer and Firefox. Apologies if it doesn't work
properly with your browser.Cheers,Halloween Jack*
