Watermelon patch

The watermelons are spreading. Their growth in the last three weeks has been remarkable.

The sweet corn are looking great, The actual cobs a little smaller than I thought, but this could be due to the variety of which all seeds were donated by SOUTH PACIFIC SEEDS

The capsicums, which have done very little in the last 3 months are just starting to take off.

The cucumbers have been harvested in large quantities. I think that every one in Parngurr has had more cucumbers in the past three weeks, than they had in the past 10 years. They taste great with the skins pealed, a fork scorching the surface and salt & pepper added to taste.

The rockmelons will be about two weeks away from harvesting. The crows are giving them a bit of a hammering, but the kids a getting their sling shots out.
