Bush tucker of a different kind

(viewed 1058 times)
The bush, at this particular time of the year, produced crystals that tasted just like sugar. All that is required to obtain the crystals is to rub your hands against the leaves and they magically appear. Thanks Doug for the invite

(viewed 773 times)
These paw paws are growing in the schools shadehouse. We will need to make an opening in the shadecloth for the plants to grow in the next trip out.

Gary's little helpers

Even out in the desert there are bees to help out in the garden. No doubt that the women in the community will know where they go to store there valuable honey.

The harvest

(viewed 790 times)
All the fruit and vegetables that are picked from the garden are then given to the store where any one who wants the fruit and vegetables can have them for free. This is great from my perspective as the garden does not get raided from the kids for a free feed and produce wasted due to being picked prematurely.
