SAVE OUR SCHOOL!!

Wolverhampton City Council in all its wisdom have decided they need to close one of the primary schools near where I live...which one have they chosen...MY SONS SCHOOL!!!
Why??
We don't know, I attended a meeting tonight to discuss it with representatives from the governing board of the school, an official of the committee who made the decision and our local councillor we didn't get very far in typical fashion all the people that mattered dodged the questions and angered more people than they helped......the school are looking for ideas how we can stop this from happening,
We've started with the local press and petitions, all the obvious but does anyone here have any experience in this sort of thing or any ideas how to raise the profile of the schools plight???
Danesmore Park is the ONLY school in our area that has a special needs resource base and its own swimming pool. All the children are very upset, as are the parents. I went there, my son goes there and it will be a much missed school should this proposal go ahead.
