We all purchased the same hat at different times, not together, during the Reenactors Fest of this past weekend. Now I gotta line mine and put the whole outfit together.

I am reminded by Buppie's words how lucky I am to have him. He's 93 years old and writes better than I'll ever hope to write...both with being well spoken ~and~ having beautiful handwriting. I got my passion for books, my love of history and general obsession with genealogy from him. Sometimes it's so easy to get caught up in our own day to day lives that we forget how much our older generations have to give us back if only we'd take the time to keep them as part of our lives, often it's as simple as a letter and some pictures. I hope to keep this up for both of our sakes.
