Tim's Travelling Adventures

Well, this started out as a way that my wife could follow my lone progress in my little sports car from Birmingham UK to Orkney.

Been there, done that 2 day there, 13hour return trip.

So now follow me: an Englishman representing Americans and based in a French office near Paris. With an appartment in Versailles and trips back to the UK anything can happen and, frankly, I've no idea where this will lead!

Went to see my mate Vincent in Normandy for the weekend. Friday evening
traffic in Paris was pretty bad, but as soon as your out of the city roof
down motoring in France becomes a real pleasure.

Bunny Assortment

She's a beautiful girl, our bunny, and never happier than when being fussed.

OK, so you can do this using Google Earth, but my flight back to the UK flew from Orly to Coventry and flew over my work, my flat (marked with the subtle blue arrow) and Versailles Palace.

So I took some snaps.

We went to visit Sharon's cousin and his wife. They're about to move into
their first (bought) house in a village near Oxford, but this is the cottage
they're moving from. They had the first (teeny weenie) house in the terrace,
but what a beautiful location...

I've been home to Birmingham this last week and the Gas company have been
installing new plastic pipes in our street. I'm glad that's not my car......
He didn't touch it though.

Cool Bike and rider followed me as I drove around Versailles and came past
me as we both turned the corner to go past the front of the Palace.

Like Father Like Son

My Parents can't complain that we've got a little sportscar. Well, they
wouldn't anyway, but the fact that my Dad got his first sportscar last year at the evergreen age of 72(!) (I'm so proud) means that I was on pretty safe ground.

His is the Mazda MX-5 (Eunos / Miata) [left] and ours is the Barchetta [right].
