I've just finished speaking with Marie Jasinski here at the Edayz Conference in Adelaide about higher order thinking and the manner in which people need to connect with their spiritual self in order to realise dreams, hopes and aspirations.
Marie has informed me that this conference is the one worth getting to in the future -

Marie fascinates me with her views on chaos theory, the power of role play and online simulations and also her views on IQ / multiple intelligences in the techning and learning ecospshere.
I spoke of indigenous communities, technologies, behaviours, projects and possibilities, goals, history and other artefacts. Upon reflection and with some feedback from Marie I take it that my keynote speech was lacking a "connection" with the learner - particularly those learners whose primary focus is that of student in the learning face-to-face world of VET training centres.
Marie spoke many times of how she thinks moblogging could be used and then I took Marie to mobdeadly and engageme . Interestingly I feel a little sad that we didnt get more time to discuss other things besides 'passion'.
Conference speak worries me. Doing speaks volumes. A picture speaks a thousand moblogs.
