from the top: a tambourine, a melodica, a vox continental organ (TWO tiers thank you!) and a gen-you-whine wurlitzer electric piano. ray charles tastic! i got to play this on one song (having practiced my two finger keyboard skills all week). so much fun. it grrrowls when you hit it hard and twinkes when you're gentle. yummy.

just kicking about the place. vibes, martin D-18 (like elvis had) and wicked old archtop that the coral apparently used a lot on their album. not sure what it is really. sounds great though.

seri-arse-ly!
this is the floor tom to ringo's actual drum kit from the let it be album. it now belongs to the drummer for van morrison and it lives at goldtop studios. this pic was taken shortly before i fell off the ladder trying to put it back on the shelf and was *thank goodness* caught by ollie before i dropped the drum.
it sounds like distant thunder.
probably needs a tea towel over it for authentic ringoisms.

now that's what a microphone should look like. weirdly we only used it for handclaps and banging our heads on.

i didn't even know gretch made amps. three speakers, two of them oval. a BLUE light and more chrome than a cadillac. sadly it only got used on one song, made some odd rattling sounds and that song never made the album anyway.
still... how cool?!
