after the recent daddy long legs gig at the wonderful proud galleries in camden. our gig was two days before they shut the place prior to it's demolition. they're going to knock down a unique and historic bit of of london's history (stables market and the old horse hospital, and a great building/venue/market)to build yet another annoymous glass fronted topshop. what it WRONG with people? this is what we think.
doing a bit of a billy pilgrim and jumping about in time here but, here's a lovely pic of the bottom of the valley in yorkshire taken before the weirdness happened.

"be a child of your time".
he's also the reason i feel terrible today. rum chasers for a civilised afternoon drink didn't seem like that much of a good idea at the time and definitely didn't this morning.

escaping the thronging crowds of central ipswich at 4pm on a bank holday sunday, we decided on a spot of coffee before soundcheck. i say, pass the cucumber sandwiches old boy.
luckily mark's parents were able to put us up their lovely place in diss for a few days for some gigs in norwich and ipswich.
here the brothers go in for a bit of post breakfast free-form ska folk. i really can't tell you how bad this sounds. the violin has to be the worst sounding instrument in the world when played badly... and one of the most beautiful when played well. guess which this was?
