I love Ready for Shelf Packaging

(viewed 982 times)
Rip, rip, pull, merchandise on shelf, collect excess cardboard and recycle (eventually), move onto next box! Fast and neat. You'd be amazed at how much plastic most toilet paper is (wastefully) wrapped in...

Work is fun!

Particularly at night... Wish I had a decent camera sometimes, because there's art in just about everything if you look at it the right way.

Ah yes, and so it begins!

I'm working nights at my local tesco for (at least) two weeks.

It's oddly satisfying to work without the stress of customers - they are picky bastards on the whole! So, frontend (tills) and a bit of shelf stacking fom 10pm-7am Monday to Friday? Yeah, doesn't seem so bad.

It'll be even better when the payslip comes in. Mmm.

9:30pm, dad and I are watching doctor who on the projector and the hifi... And pop, off goes the electricity. Wonderful.

And, in the blink of an eye, we're back to the 1800s! At least the local mobile cell has a battery backup :D

My daily morning view

(viewed 437 times)
Sitting with my back to Hagley Road, a plethora of graffiti adorns the wall by my bus stop.

It's oddly poetic.

Who has the best view from their bus stop?
