Madeline, in her eternal quest for fame and loftier heights from which she may survey her kingdom, is perched on a bit of wood at the top of a sliding door. She is approximately 12 feet off of the ground, and totally pleased with herself. Even now, she's meowing proudly to get even more attention for being the tallest kitty ever.

This photo totally does NOT do this woman justice. She was wearing a purple prom-type dress, complete with tulle overlay on the skirt. She was also wearing a fur coat, and her bag was gold lame'. In her hair, where the curls were at the ends, there was more gold lame' wrapped up. She had totally wrecked teeth, and a bit of a beard, but she was awesome. I had to walk up and say, "Excuse me. We noticed how lovely you looked, and I was wondering if you'd mind if I took a photo." She replied that she didn't mind, and started laughing when I said, "Okay, smile!" She was having a hot fudge sundae at House of Pies, and she was adorable, beard and all.

Ariel had the egg custard pie. It was her first time having it, and she proclaimed it "delicious!".

I, myself, had the cherry. I'd had bites of other people's pieces of cherry pie before (shut UP, you pervs!), but hadn't had a slice all to myself. I devoured it down to the last crumb and had to restrain myself from licking the plate. Mmm.
