The seagulls have been at it again. Took these with flash on the camera and a slow shutter speed which has produced a slightly weird effect.
More photos taken on the beach this evening, with the camera this time rather than cameraphone.

Had an awful trip back from Plymouth today. A trip that should have taken 3 hours took 6. Heavy traffic on the M5, tried diverting onto the A38 - only to run into another traffic jam. Then heavy traffic on the M4. And on a hot day the air conditioning in the car packed up. So, all in all, not a good journey.
It was a relief to get home and take the dog for a long walk down to Cold Knap Point to watch the sun set over teh bay and cool off with a nice sea breeze. A perfect way to chill out.
Son had an interview in Plymouth this morning for an engineering apprenticeship. We drove down yesterday and stayed in a Travelodge in Saltash, which is only 5 miles from Plymouth but is in Cornwall. So we had to cross over the rather impressive Tamar Bridge. We passed through a spectacular thunderstorm on our way down yesterday, and might be more on the way looking at those clouds. Anyway the interview went well, he's a very out-going character so I think he enjoyed it. He was driving when I took this photo by the way.

OK, so I know you're all going to be bored with this soon (and me too probably) but the daily attack on our morning walk continues. I could take a different route, of course, but the photo opportunities are too good to miss. And don't say I don't suffer for my art because one of them clipped me on the head again.
