Decided to keep the cameraphone on B&W; this evening to see what sort of shots I could come up with.
What a contrast to yesterday. Blue sky and sunshine today. And the dog was much happier on the beach.
1) This is more like it
2) Splashing
3) Wading through the surf
4) Not having to pretend it's sunny
We hadn't been on the beach for a while - a combination of heavy workload for me and high tides during the evenings. So I was determined to go for a walk on the beach this afternoon.
It was rainy, wet and miserable - perfect for a Saturday afternoon walk on the beach. Tim was not at all impressed, he doesn't like the rain at the best of times and he likes it even less on the beach. He did come round to it after a while, though. Me, I loved it.
1) Can I go home now?
2) Coming round to it a bit.
3) Wet anyway so may as well get really wet.
4) Concertina dog.
5) Pretending it's sunny.

Well, I guess the heat wave is over. It's been grey and rainy here most of the day. But it cleared up this evening for me to walk the dog and we were treated to a lovely sunset.
Anyway, I'm not ready to give up on the shorts just yet. In fact I think it's about two weeks since I last wore anything other than shorts and sandals. Going to be a bit of shock to the system when I next have to wear shoes!
It was very windy on our evening walk, especially on the exposed headland of Cold Knap Point. My favourite place to go when it's stormy, with the wind blowing off the sea and the waves crashing on the rocks. Tim was running around, excited by the wind, more like a two year old than a nine year old.
