It was pouring down with rain this afternoon, but I decided to walk on the beach anyway. At least we got the entire beach to ourselves. Tim was actually quite excited to go for a walk - until he put his head out of the door and saw it was raining and tried to go back in again. But as usual he enjoyed himself when he got there.
My hand is being mauled by this demented dog!

...and somewhere to rest my head
The Old Harbour, Barry, at high tide looking out over the Bristol Channel towards England. The promontory in the distance is where I take a lot of the photos of Tim - the one with the bench. And immediately in front of that is the slipway down to the beach, where I took the photos of Tim earlier. It's hard to imagine that six hours after this was taken the tide will have gone out almost to the end of the furthest point of land you can see here, about half a mile altogether. And when the photo was taken the spot where I took the photos of Tim earlier is under about 30 feet of water.

We had an afternoon walk on the beach today - the tides are not conducive to evening beach walks at the moment. As usual Tim didn't want to go to the beach, I had to put his lead on and practically drag him. But as usual he had a good time once he was there.
We got dive-bombed again on the way back from our walk this evening.
Taken with a slow shutter speed and flash, just before I ducked. Those feet were aiming straight at my head!
Despite lots of rain today we did see some sun on our evening walk.
