Discs in the rain

(viewed 947 times)
Anton, Blake, and I played 26 holes of disc golf in the rain at the Hibbing course, today. We were expecting a bright sunshining day, but the storm clouds rolled in just as we arrived at the course. Having driven about 50 miles we played anyway. (This is also my first attempt to record, edit, and upload video using only my cellular phone. I only recently added video editing software. I hope the background music came out alright. )

A Few Outdoor Home Design Tips

(viewed 801 times)
  • Consider prominently displaying your nation's flag. If you can't find a broomstick to stab in the ground or powerline to drape it from, you can always get creative. For example, use it for the curtain on your living room windows.
  • Yes, your yard is not a service station, but that's no reason to leave out the gasoline pumps and a broken motorcycle or two.
  • It's always handy to have an extension ladder around for occasional rooftop emergencies. Even better, leave one propped up for permanent rooftop access. It's an easy way to add a run deck to your home with on additional construction required.

I took a walk around Biwabik, yesterday. It was a nice day, blue skies with
fluffy white clouds, and ...snow everywhere!
