This morning the third Galah has spread it's wings and gone elsewhere.
I've named this pair Teakay Fortoowan and Helen, Im not sure which is
which yet - I guess I'll have to wait until they have chicks and then
see who stays at home all day and whose forced to go out to work :-)
A couple of industry shots I took on the way home from work tonight...
I don't know why but the pylons just remind me of giant robots? Maybe that's
just me being a bit weird / wired again.. I think I need the weekend to come
sooner :-)

This is the Karri Forest we visited in Margaret River, The pathway leads
through the huge Marri and Karri trees and then suddenly opens up to a
clearing where we found this billabong. All along the banks were the eeriely
silent statue like petrified trees - The photo honestly does not do this
justice. It was an amazing and spooky place even in the bright afternoon
sunlight. I wish I had returned at night, I'm sure I would have got some
really scary shots... Unfortunately I was too chicken to trek throught the
woods alone at night... To Blair Witch for me :-)
One of a pair nesting outside the window here.
Spring is in the air! Roll on Summer! :-)

It's been a wet and windy day in Warnbro. Roll on summer.

I travel past this sculpture everyday on the way home from work, and have
always wondered what it represented, so today I decided to stop off and take
some pics and see what it was all about... Unfortunately theres no plaque or
any information about the work of art... I tried a google and still can'f
find anything... Is there any one who knows what it symbolises???
