Driving through Seattle

I'd forgotten to post all the photos from the Sasquatch festival last year, and since I've had a bit of a lull with photo-taking (mainly because of stupid things like crazy amounts of work) I thought I'd post a few. These are on the way to the festival, driving through the heart of Washington State.

At the mountains last night

I've been way too busy to update my moblog lately. Hopefully it'll go better after my big departmental seminar at the end of next week. The last photo was a perfect snowflake, but the macro mode on my phonecam wasn't good enough to do it justice.

sunken treasure?

One of the boats that sank in the summer. This "hermit boat" looked a bit weird amongst the luxury yachts, and then it capsized. The police turned up a day or two later.

I was knackered last weekend. Really needed an early night so went to bed early on Sunday night. Then at 2.30 in the morning the fire alarms went off, and I had to wait outside for half an hour :( It was a false alarm, but I was quite impressed that 3 fire engines pulled up.
