Olympic Illumination

A few more photos from the lights in Vancouver at the moment.

It's 3 days till the Olympics, so I hope to catch a glimpse of the torch relay later this week.

Vancouver's beaming

One of the Olympic displays going on in the city is the vectorial light show in which you can chose your own patterns online and watch them reach across the sky.

As I was cleaning my carpets last weekend, I scared off one of my arachnid guests. I don't have a macro lens, but the macro filters for my lensbaby give pretty cool effects.

A few photos of some of the friends I met up with when I was back in England.

A few sights of London

When I was wandering around the city last summer.

The Thames Barrier

I'd never actually been before, so when I was back in England last time I took a trip over to the barrier. It's pretty impressive as it goes.

The ring belongs to a friend of mine who got engaged recently. The rest were taken wandering around the Ely countryside
