Design is easy.....?

Always on the look out for design/film/animation/photo taking inspiration - Oh, and travel ideas, (although anything in Japan will always win hands down for me). Currently based in the North East of Scotland.

Day Tripper part III

(viewed 1975 times)
Amazing Jim Lambie exhibition at GoMA (Gallery of Modern Art) in Glasgow. The whole floor was covered in black & white vinyl swirly patterns with tons of colour in the actual pieces. Brilliant.

There are far more than this but these are two of my favourites. Mr PJ getting in the way while I attempted to take a shot in the Gropius Bau mirroring the 'ost' and 'west' signage (it didn't work anyway), and the other of a shot through 'the wall' of the river spree before people started walking past - damn you nokia n95 and your shutter lag!.....

Bye bye Berlin..

:-( had a brilliant time. So sad to leave.

Kreuzberg, Friedrichshain & Alexanderplatz

Managed to fit in a visit to the east side gallery and then stroll around Kreuzberg and sample it's street cafe's. A bike appears to be the best way to get around. Especially when the traffic lights are so smiley! Although maybe not this evening when we go back there for a drink or three. It could all end in tears....

Tiergarten & Mitte, Berlin

Went for a wander last night. Took some evening shots of the brandenburg gate and the holocaust memorial. Today was spent at postdamer platz, then off around tiergarten area for a stroll and a drink in one of the many beer gardens . Both loving Berlin. A lot.
