Deadline extended! New prize announced! Extra prize offered!
The
BJP is calling for entries to its fifth International Photography Award – a juried competition with a
total prize fund worth more than £13,0000 ($25,000/€16,500).
There are
TWO chances to win, because there are TWO categories – one recognising an outstanding body of work, the other an outstanding single image (you can also enter more than once).
The
body of work winner will win A £5000 voucher for photographic retailer Robert White. This prize replaces the previous prize – a Leaf camera.
The single image winner will win a Sigma DP2 – a professional compact digital – and a selection of single image entries will be published by
Blurb.com in a catalogue-style photobook.
The
winning body of work and the single image will be given a solo show at a leading London photography gallery, printed by one of Europe’s top fine art laboratories. Both winners will also feature in British Journal of Photography.
Anyone of any country or any age can enter. We don’t dictate a theme. We just want to see your most compelling work.
Entry is £25 (or €30 or $40) for the series category, and £5 (or €6 or $8) per single image.
Deadline has been EXTENDED until 01 October 2009.Further details
