Migratory birds at 80 mile
The blockade of Woodside went for 30 days. The TRG from Perth was brought up to break the blockade and make arrest. 10 laters, they succeeded.
Since the 6 July, Woodside contractors continue the one hour journey from Broome to James Price Point. Each day they are stopped for an hour or two, waiting for the police to escort them through. This will be a protracted protest that will last years.
We will not give up.
I don't do protests, usually. I don't have a problem with Woodside taking gas, just off the Kimberley coast. But when they want to put the largest gas processing plant in the southern hemisphere, at my favourite camping and fishing spot, then enough is enough.
It's time to wave them flags.
