My car is missing from todays pic. It's in the garage having it's MOT re-test. It failed last week because i was told it needed a new driving rack as well as other bits and pieces. The quote for the work was ?500.
Luckily, I was urged by my boyfriend to take it to his friends garage. I followed his advice and it is lucky that I did as I discovered that the driving rack was not at fault, rather the track rod end needed replacing. Not only did his mate repair the track rod end, but he also sorted out a 'short' with my back lights, replaced all the wipers and even straightened out the dent on the wheel arch that appeard on 7/7/05. All this for ?51!
I am officially the 'Luckiest Girl in the World?'.
:)
Oh, and by the way, it passed the re-test! The garage didn't even mention the steering rack when i went back a second time.

Unusual array of parking this morning.
We have the gardeners in trimming the shrubs and generally tidying up the place.
The driver of the Celica arrived a little late and looked aghast as her 'spot' was unavailable to park in.
She sat in her car for a good few minutes obviously wondering what on earth she was going to do ;)
Decisions, decisions!

Todays parking blog has been eclipsed by a 'situation' in the car park :)
Two kids climbed the scaffolding of the dance centre behind our car park and proceeded to to untie the pulley and try and undo the walkway planks. The first thing we knew was when one of the workers here looked out of her window and saw them hanging like monkeys. As ever, when anything like this happens at work, all the girls in the building get involved like some tepid version of Charlies Angels, trying to sort out the problem. Anything to ease the boredom of 'The Office' it seems. The kids, charming as ever didn't see the problem with them being 15-20ft off the ground and told us in very colourful language to go away. After threats were made to call the police etc they finally ran away, only to come back 5 minutes later! In the end the police were called and have been patrolling the area since. The little monkeys seem to have finally gone away.As my Baj would say, 'Bring back the stocks'!

Isn't it funny how people follow and copy each other without any exchange or dialogue between them.
This morning the driver of the red car came in and parked her car facing the hedge then dashed off to catch a train to London.
All the other cars that arrived afterwards were parked facing the hedge as well.
This is the first time i have seen the cars parked in this way, people always turn their cars around so that they are able to get out easier later.
Funny..

Saturday night was my friend Jo's birthday. We all went to the Loop bar to shoot some pool and have a dance.
Brandon Block was playing.
