Our remarkably lovely sofabed from Freecycle

(viewed 874 times)
Wasn't all that hard to transport either as the person had kindly taken it all apart.

Found bookcase

(viewed 793 times)
I found this rather lovely bookcase downstairs at the bins at my block of flats, what i love most about it is that it was just when i was thinking how i had to get a new bookcase and the inevitable trip to ikea loomed that i found it. Perfect, i mean not only did i get a bookcase out of it but i didnt have to go to ikea. Win.

maida vale style drawers

(viewed 972 times)
My flatmate found this chest of drawers left on the street near Warwick
Avenue tube station and carried it (just) to her place in Maida Vale. Now
it's in our new place and still looking fabulous!

We found our living room glass table (on wheels- very handy) as well as the (old but stable) shelves outside our flat in East London. The sofa on the left is from Freecycle.

Mirror Table.

(viewed 1901 times)
This lovely mirror dressing table was waiting for me in front of our building- unloved and abandoned.

I have to admit that I have a history of collecting rubbish from the streets. It all started when I found my mum a frying pan and myself "Planet of the Apes" on VHS when I was about 12.

I made a rocket seedling station out of a clothes hoarse we dont use any more and the cheap plactic pots you get your balcony plants in.
